Hello and welcome to my website. I am glad you are here!!

A personal trainer is a lifestyle manager, consultant and coach that works with an individual on a one to one basis to help improve their health and wellness through education, motivation, exercise, diet and behavior modification. I will be your fitness and health manager.

My Education – I have a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education and a minor in business administration. I am a certified personal trainer through two different organizations: Exercise Safety Association and the prestigious National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2015 I received another certification, Health Coach from the American Council of Exercise. All three organizations require me to take tests, read periodicals, and on occasion attend sports symposiums. It is also required for me to stay current on CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. I have been to Boston, St. Louis and Florida for training.

My Mission – is to help people get stronger through exercise and better nutrition! I believe God gave us one body and we need to take care of it.

Your Personal Training Program – is available in 50 minute sessions. You and I will work together to form an individual plan that will motivate and challenge you. A well designed training program will include cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition. Fitness assessments include: blood pressure, height, weight, body fat measurement and body mass index calculation. I will also evaluate your aerobic capacity and recovery, core strength and upper arm strength. I will then take this information and design a personal program to help you achieve overall fitness and goals as quickly as possible. I am available for appointments in my fitness studio or I have equipment that I can bring to your preferred site. My available hours for training sessions are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.

Let’s get started! Steps towards success:

  • 1. A fitness assessment will be done on your initial visit, or soon after, depending on what’s best for your customized program.
  • 2. Determine a schedule that is best for you and check with me for availability.
  • 3. Keep a daily notebook of foods consumed and steps from your pedometer, we will look at these each session, and evaluate your health needs.
  • 4. Please make and keep your appointment.
  • 5. Sessions are on a prepay basis and are available in single sessions or packages of five or ten.

I believe in setting goals! I recently ran my third marathon in 2016, the OKC Memorial Marathon. I trained a client and my husband! Thankfully, we all three completed the marathon. In 2013, I helped train two clients for the half marathon (13.1 miles) and another client for the full (26.2 miles). We all worked hard and achieved our goals. In all those months of training we only had one injury, mine. I dislocated and broke a toe five weeks before the race. Ouch! Oh well, sometimes there is pain that is necessary when running our race, or meeting goals. But in the end, it is worth
